Hair Party/ Updated Regional Information

FAMILY & FRIENDS NIGHT: We invite you all to come watch us this Thursday at 8:15pm in the lower gym @ PHHS. 

HAIR PARTY: 6pm @ Val Samborski’s house.

                Please bring Clear Ice hair gel (found at local drug stores, Walmart, Target, etc. for about $5), foam clip hair rollers, bobby pins, hair ties, and a snack to share.

REGIONALS (Saturday): Registration is actually at 2:30pm (not 3pm like the previous email stated), so we will need the girls to be at Liberty @ 2pm.

Week of Regionals! :)

We are now 4 days out until regionals!!  Keep stretching and practicing at home every day!  We are wanting to get the squad together for a hair party on Friday night.  If you are willing to volunteer your house for this, please let me know ASAP!

REGIONALS: Our regional competition is this Saturday, July 19th at Liberty High School.  We will not be getting busses.  I have attached the schedule of all performances, but our squad’s schedule is as follows:

                2:30—Arrive at Liberty HS

                3:00—Registration

                4:05—1^st performance in our section

                5:15—Practice Time

                5:45—Perform

FINANCES: The money for poms ($40) as well as the activity fee for the school ($45) will be due during the time we are on our off weeks.  If at all possible, please get these payments to me by Saturday.

SUMMER SCHEDULE: We will be getting the fall practice schedule out within the next few days.  All of the games, times and locations for the fall and winter are on the google calendar now as well.

Team Sleepover

Tomorrow is our traditional sleepover.  The sleepover takes place at Pine Ridge Church across from the high school (where the picnic was held.) The address is 7600 NW Barry Road.  Sheri Lee has volunteered to get pizza, snacks, and drinks for the girls.  If you or your daughter has not paid please bring $5 to practice tonight.  The sleepover will start at 5pm.  If you cannot be there by 5pm please let me know immediately and what time you will be there. 

During our team bonding event the girls do a traditional scavenger hunt.  For those of you who have not participated in this before this involves the girls going off property for a short period of time.  The seniors and 2 juniors will drive.  If you have any issue with this please contact me. We will also do a craft and team bonding activities during the evening.

SQUAD PICTURES: We will be taking our squad banner picture today, July 8^th at 5:30pm on the football field.  Wear your red uniform (hair down).  Bring clothes with you for our practice immediately following at 7pm.

TEAM BONDING: Team Sleepover & scavenger hunt at Church across from PH –this Friday July 11^th.  Sheri Lee has volunteered to pick up pizza, soda, and snacks for the night, so we will need each cheerleader to bring $5 to practice by Thursday.

Park Hill Cheerleading spirit wear is now here! 

I have set up a site through Varsity, which is an athletic clothing company that specializes in cheer and dance.  This site will be open all season long, so you can order what you would like, when you would like!  There are many different options for clothing including t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, jackets, etc.  Most items come in various colors and have many screen prints to choose from!  One thing to be careful of when choosing a screen print—some of the prints have glitter and/or rhinestones that may be hard to see on the picture, so look closely and make sure what you are selecting is really what you want to order!  Also, on screen prints that say “PRIDE”, you are able to replace that word using the drop down menu below with cheer, cheerleading, mom, dad, athletics, alumni, etc.  On screen prints with a year, you can customize the year as well! 

There will be no window of time to order within, and all payments go through the company online.  Unfortunately, all of these items will be non-refundable once you have received them unless they are defective since they are custom designs. 

This website will also double as a season-long fundraiser for the squad! The prices have been slightly marked up, so the more we sell, the more money our squad makes!  You can track our progress on the homepage!  The money raised will be given in the form of a credit to any varsity affiliated company.  Some of the things we could use the money on are clothing from Varsity for the squad, UCA stunt clinic registration fees, (possible) UCA competition fees J, camp fees, and camp clothes from Varsity!

We will still be ordering clothing as a squad like normal, so clothing from this website is all completely OPTIONAL!  All cheerleaders will still be expected to purchase any clothing we order as a squad.

***The orders will most likely not make it in time for regionals with the 4^th of July holiday.
