We somehow pulled it off and had an amazing turnout for our
clinic--we had close to 60 participants!!
Everything went smoothly and the performance at the game last night was
great! Thank you to all who helped to
spread the word, it is greatly appreciated!
HOLIDAY PARTY: We
will be having our holiday party this year at Hayley Robinson’s house. It will be a potluck, so each cheerleader
should bring a dish to share. We are
also having a white elephant gift exchange, so each girl should also bring a
gift with them that costs around $20-$25.
Wear your craziest (or ugliest J) holiday sweater—the winner will get a prize!!
WINTER SEASON: This
week marks the beginning of our winter season for cheer. The absences will start over and each girl
will have 4 absences throughout basketball season (which usually ends in
February). Events involving a class in
school will not count as an absence, however any extracurricular activity
interferences will. The squads will be
split up into red and white again. Look
for which squad is cheering on the weekly emails and/or the google calendar.
SICK?: If your
daughter is sick and has to stay home from school/practice/game, in
order to excuse the absence, we will need to have a doctor’s note. Unfortunately without a doctor’s note, the
absence will count towards one of the 4 absences for the winter season. The
winter season will begin with our first basketball game.
Also, if your daughter has not attended 2 or more full
blocks of school for any reason, they are not able to come to practice or any
games that afternoon/evening (per Mr. Erneste).
Please let me know by email or text if your daughter will or has been
absent the day of a practice or game.
STATE RINGS: The
Josten’s rep has sent out an invoice to everyone letting you know what you
still owe. All payments are to go
through Josten’s, not the school or coaches.
PICTURES: You may
have noticed Jina Chung, Kayley’s cousin, taking pictures down on the track of
the girls at games. This is a hobby of
hers and she has done an amazing job so far!
Once edited, she uploads all of the pictures to a private shutterfly
account for you all to view and print or order pictures if you would like. The link is below along with the
