Spirit Days: Please participate in
all spirit days this week.
COURT WARMING: The CW assembly will be Friday, January 30, 2015. It
begins at 1:30pm and will be the girls’ last performance of the season!
All are welcome to attend!
WINTER SEASON: Each girl will have 4 absences throughout basketball season
(which usually ends in February). Events involving a class in school will
not count as an absence, however any extracurricular activity interferences
will. The squads will be split up into red and white again. Look
for which squad is cheering on the weekly emails and/or the google calendar.
SICK?: If your daughter is sick and has to stay home from
school/practice/game, in order to excuse the absence, we
will need to have a doctor’s note. Unfortunately without a doctor’s note,
the absence will count towards one of the 4 absences for the winter season. The
winter season will begin with our first basketball game.
Also, if your daughter has not
attended 2 or more full blocks of school for any reason, they are not able to
come to practice or any games that afternoon/evening (per Mr. Erneste).
Please let me know by email or text if your daughter will or has been absent
the day of a practice or game.
PICTURES: You may have noticed Jina Chung, Kayley’s cousin, taking
pictures down on the track of the girls at games. This is a hobby of hers
and she has done an amazing job so far! Once edited, she uploads all of
the pictures to a private shutterfly account for you all to view and print or order
pictures if you would like. The link is below along with the
