HOLY COW! This past
weekend was a mix of many emotions!
Coach Baker and I are SO proud of the girls for all of the hard work
they have put in over the past few months.
This was an incredible accomplishment and they deserve every bit of
it! Mr. Erneste acknowledged the state
win with a parade yesterday at the end of school with the help of drum
line. The girls had the chance to have
the entire school congratulate them and cheer them on as they made their way
through the halls. I have been told that
it has been around 14 years since Park Hill has won state in cheer!
As for the “goodies” the girls will receive as a result of
their win…
MCCA gave us a medal for each girl (to either be put on a
letter jacket, or pinned on a bag). I
will be handing these, along with the regional medals, out tonight before the
game. PHHS will give them a black letter
to go on their jacket acknowledging their state championship.
Many girls were asking about rings. I spoke with Mr. Erneste and he explained
that the rings were something the parents buy on their own if they would
like. Unfortunately, with the cost being
over $200, it is not something the school pays for. If you would like more information about
getting a ring to commemorate the win, please let me know.
I will attend the next parent meeting to talk more in depth
about what we can do for the girls. I
will send an email out for when the next meeting will be as soon as I get that
information. Any and all ideas are
welcome for discussion!
PICTURES: You may
have noticed Jina Chung, Kayley’s cousin, taking pictures down on the track of
the girls at games. This is a hobby of
hers and she has done an amazing job so far!

13, 2014. The web address and
school code are listed below. Once you
access the site, you will scroll to the bottom and click on “continue to online
ordering”. You will then be prompted for
the school code. The vendor listed on

Also, if your daughter has not attended 2 or more full
blocks of school for any reason, they are not able to come to practice or any
games that afternoon/evening (per Mr. Erneste).
