STATE RINGS: I
had some interest from parents and girls about getting state rings, so we will
have a ring to purchase if you decide you want one to commemorate winning
state. I, along with the seniors, met
with a Jostens rep yesterday to design the state rings. We have 2 designs in the works and will
receive the artwork, along with the cost of each hopefully by the end of the
week. Right now, we are thinking they could
be anywhere from $150-$225 per ring. The
rep from Jostens is coming to the school next Thursday (10/23) at 4pm to size
the girls. At that time, he will need a
$50 deposit (you can also mail this to him by the end of October). This will act as a down payment and will go
towards the total cost of the ring.
I know money can be an issue, and these are not cheap at
all, but Jostens does offer payment plans.
He used Staley as an example from last year to help me understand. They got their rings in January. He kept any rings not paid for in full at his
office until around June which were available for pick up as soon as the ring
was paid in full. A couple girls did not
end up picking up their rings, so he just sends them back to the factory to be
melted down, and they were only out $50.
I will send out a picture of what the ring will look like as
soon as I get it so that you know what you are paying for. Each ring will be personalized with the
girl’s name, along with “State Champions”, “2014”, and a cheer logo on the side. You also have the option to get something
engraved on the inside of the ring.
I think it is a great way to commemorate the girls’ win, but
please understand this is completely optional. J (this also makes for a great present around the
holidays)

hers and she has done an amazing job so far!

Also, if your daughter has not attended 2 or more full
blocks of school for any reason, they are not able to come to practice or any
games that afternoon/evening (per Mr. Erneste).
FOOTBALL DINNER
SIGN-UPS: Kelly Robinson, Bernadette Rabang, and Angel Reno (Jennifer
Blumenthal also volunteered to help out!) will be in charge of our last regular
season home game dinner. Thanks Gypsy

This is most likely not our last home game, so if you would
like to volunteer for future home/away games let me know ASAP and I will get
you those tentative dates!
